SURREALISM ART

The twentieth century was the golden age for both art and literature. The expression of vision free and imaginative dreams was used without conscious control. Moreover, the visual art from Surrealist period come from the artists that wanted to use art to show the inner workings of the mind, especially in regards to areas of sexuality or violence, which they considered to be frequently oppressed. In the reality is, Magritte and other Surrealist artists wanted to create work that made the viewer think. However, none of art has a solid answer.
